Germany Map The Federal Republic of Germany rests at the heart of the European continent, linking Eastern Europe to the West.

Occupying a central position in Europe, it extends from Denmark in the north to Switzerland and Austria in the south. It is bordered on the west by the Benelux Countries (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg) and France and on the east by Poland and the Czech Republic.

It has a coastline both on the North Sea and the Baltic.
